Just sent this too: When I bought Grigor from Jeannine I got PRECISELY what I wanted. I large, heavy boned dog with strong, stable, hard temperament." I should add to my clarification post. If you are thinking of acquiring one of these dog breeds here in the US there are VERY FEW reputable breeders. Jeannine is the ONLY reputable CAO breeder I know of (oh and Vic - sorry). And I can GUARANTEE that if you were considering purchasing a CAO or CO and then decided to buy from a different, less reputable breeder you are going to get a WORSE dog, end of story. Here are the most important things in a dog: (1) temperament (who cares if the dog is healthy if it's totally screwed up temperamentally?) (2) health (MUST take precedence over breed type otherwise you get sickly, unsound dogs that aren't worth anything). (3) breed type (in a purebred dog of course) A breeder should, at the very least: Perform health clearances on breeding stock. Perform temperament/drive evaluations on breeding stock. Show dogs or compete in performance events. Offer a health guarantee on every puppy sold. TAKE BACK ANY DOG HE OR SHE HAS BRED AT ANY TIME IN THAT DOG'S LIFE. If you find a breeder who doesn't offer these BASIC things look elsewhere. Nicole
